Solomon, the king of Israel, was very wise. Many kings from other countries visited him to learn from his wisdom. One day, the queen of Sheva visited Solomon with the valuable treasures and asked him how he had got that amazing wisdom. Solomon answered, “The Queen of Sheva, as you know there was a great flood in Israel after 40 days of the rain. When the rain stopped, the first rainbow appeared. If you can find it, you will get the great wisdom like I did.” Thereafter, the word of King Solomon was spread out in Jerusalem.
Having heard this news, many explorers left for their journeys to get the great wisdom as King Solomon said. However, no one knew the exact location where the first rainbow would have been discovered at. All the clues for the exact place were scattered throughout Israel. Each direction, North, South, East and West, has its 7 own clues according to 7 colors which are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, navy and purple.
Whichever direction you would take, you would find the location of the first rainbow as long as you get the 7 clues within one direction. If you choose one direction, you’d better throw away the clues from other directions without hesitating. And also you ought to observe other explorers to see which directions they have chosen. You should get the 7 clues quicker than others as you follow the instructions.

    Contents of the Cards

    • Play card 60 Sheets :

Each direction has 2 sets of 7 colors cards. Each direction has one rainbow card which can function as a joker. See the list of the cards in the right side.

    The Objective of the Game
Choose one direction among North, South, East and West and complete the rainbow. In another words, collect 7 rainbow colors(Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Navy and Purple) within one direction.

    The Preparation of the Game
Mix the cards thoroughly and distribute 8 cards to each player hidden. Put the rest of the cards in the middle after distributing and stack up the cards. All the players should put down one of their cards as a hidden card. After that they should have 7 cards remain in their hands until the game ends.

    How to Play the Game

    1. Who would go first

Turn over the hidden card the players put down in front of them earlier.
The person who opens the red card would go first. If nobody opens the red card, then the order would be by the color of orange, yellow, green, blue, navy and purple. If the same color cards are opened at the same time, the order would go by the direction of North, South, East and West. After the first player gets chosen, then the turns go around clockwise.

    2. How to play

    - When it is your turn, you put down one of your 7 cards and get another card from the card stacks. When you put down the card, it should show the front of the card so that every player can see the color of the card.
    - As you do that, you could get another card either from the card stacks or choose and take the card from the other players put down. Yet, when you take the card from the other players, you could only get the card lately put down. And also, if the cards from the card stacks are all gone, you can only take the card which other players put down. You cannot take the card from your own. (If you use the function card ‘TAKE’, you can get any card. * See the manual for the Function cards)
    - When you put down the card which has function described, you must use the function.
    - When it’s your turn, you could miss your turn strategically.
    - Every player should shout ‘raining’ as he/she puts down the second last card. If the player doesn’t, although he/she completes all at the last turn, he/she has to shout ‘raining’ first and then at the following turn he/she can finally win the game. So, please make sure you shout ‘raining’ if your victory is right in front of you.
    - If anyone shouts ‘raining’ and completes the rainbow next turn, he/she should shout out ‘rainbow’ and the game ends.

    3. How to use ‘Function Cards’
    1) DROP (8 cards) - You could choose one player’s card and have him/her put it down. No players should not see the card. If you want that card, you can have it. The player who puts down his/her card forcedly can take the new card from the card stacks in the middle to fill the empty spot. When the card stacks are all used up, you could start to take a card from the cards the players have put down.
    2) REVERSE (4 cards) - You can reverse the direction of the previous playing turns.

    3) JUMP (4 cards) - The player after you takes a break in his/her turn, and the next player of him/her plays after you.

    4) TAKE (4 cards) - When the card holder takes a new card, he/she can take the cards which other players have put down not only lately but also before. He/She can even take the cards which he/she has put down himself/herself.

    5) RAINBOW (4 cards) - The card can replace any cards as long as it is in the same direction.

    4. A Tip for the Game : Put down several cards together

    1) Although the original rule for this game is that you put down one card and get the new card to make 7 cards in your hands all the way to the end of the game, you can sometimes put down and take the several cards together. As long as they are in order of the rainbow colors which are from red to purple or the numbers from 1 to 7, you can put down the several cards at the same time. Of course, you should take the cards as many as you have put down.

    2) When you put down several function cards together, you can only use the function for the last one. For example, as you see the [picture 1], if you put down the cards in the order of blue(5), navy(6), purple(7) and blue(5) card has the function of [JUMP] and the purple(7) card has the function of [TAKE], then you can only use the function of [TAKE].
